WITH WAFAC-AFRICA NGO,HOPE IS STILL POSSIBLE...
In these periods of rain, Wafac-Africa initiates a public awareness campaign in order to inform the populations on the need for having adequate behaviors in the endemic zones. Thus, the villages of the departments below were identified.
Neglected Tropical Diseases

Neglected Tropical Diseases is the usual naming by which the international community re-knows certain sanitary demonstrations (appearances) further to the change of the functions (offices) of the human beings in tropical environment (middle).
Regrettably, the populations got (touched) by these pathologies appropriate (clean) for the surrounding zones of tropics are abandoned and abandoned has their sad fate (spell); what makes of these troubles, the untidy tropical diseases.
( MTNs) The qualified international bodies already estimated (esteemed) at more 1 billion the reached (affected) subjects. In the numbers of the untidy tropical diseases we can quote:
The cholera / the endemic diarrheic diseases
- The dengue / hemorrhagic dengue
- The dracunculose (disease of the worm of Guinea)
- The lymphatic filariose
- Geography helminthiases (nématodose, ankylostomaniase and trichurose)
- The leishmaniose
- The leprosy
- The disease of Chaggas
- The onchocerciasis
- The schistosomiasis
- The trachome
- The endemic tréponématoses (pian, cataract(waterfall), endemic syphilis)
- The African human trypanosomiasis (insomnia)
- The ulcer of Buruli
These diverse untidy tropical diseases known quoted are as well invalidating as mortal. They have for causes: the Lack of hygiene, the not access to the drinking water, the houses of fortune (shanties, shacks, shanty towns). The environmental pollution, the malnutrition, under food(supply), the analphabétisation, the absence of raising awareness(sensitization) with regard to the realities bound(connected) to the tropical influence on the human elementary health, the not access to healthcare.
These diseases neglected on precise geographical and environmental conditions, establish (constitute) a permanent danger for the tropical world and indeed do not stay without consequences.
The MTNs has consequences for the got(touched) persons, the families and communities in their set(group) with terms of social discrimination, refusal(discharge), loss of validity, escalation of the poverty, the death, the disorder(confusion) of memory(report) and suicide. They represent a devastating obstacle to the human installation and to the socioeconomic development in already impoverished countries
In spite of the billion person’s victims of these pathologies, the MTNs did not often benefit from a particular attention on behalf of the financiers and from western researchers as it was the case of the AIDS, the Tuberculosis and the other pathologies which threaten the western company (society).
Nowadays, the interest being the measure of any action (share), the researchers, the landlords, seen the poverty characterizing the patients of the tropical environment (middle) are not very motivated to fly to aid of these populations the suffering of which is not to be any more demonstrated.
The fight (wrestling) against the MTNs is an initiative favorable to the poor persons, whose profits are well beyond the health: improvement of the general health of the populations, the increase of the productivity of the workers, the increase of the common national resources contributing to progress of the education and to economic growth.
The victory on the MTNs is synonymic of long-lasting (sustainable) progress and definitive improvements in underdeveloped countries.
